This is an excellent place to begin to simplify:
make your own soap. This site is not the cat's meow of soapmaking, as I know from previous surfing on the subject, but it's a start. I've been wanting to make my own olive oil and herb soaps for years, but haven't yet. I love the idea of it though, and the wonderful feeling that must be involved in being able to shape and perfume and control the quality of soap for yourself and your friends and maybe your customers. I'll add more on this as I find it.

SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY
"Simplify, simplify," said Thoreau, in much simpler times. How much more important is that advice now! And where to begin? What to do? I have been exploring this road less traveled for many decades now, and hope here to share some of what I have found, and much more of what others have found.
